In the past week I have learned that bookstores are for reading piles of items you have no intention of purchasing and for picking up women. And here I was just going there to buy books.
Bookstores are also for studying or doing work in. Amazon is 100x better for actually buying books.

I get 30 or 40% off all the time at Borders, and I like to physically walk through the shelves of books. I use Amazon for items like textbooks.
