their nat le hopes are all but gone, in the first week
They can either cry about it or try to win out. My guess is on the latter, Stoops being Stoops.

BYU just got a lot more intriguing. If they run the table - and they get ranked Florida State, TCU, and Utah all at home - they will blow up the BCS. Their commissioner is already ing to give them an autobid. There will be no argument about their at-large...the argument will be whether BYU should play for the big trophy. This will magnify if all the powerhouses start beating up on each other and there's one-loss teams all over the place.

Both teams need to cheer each other on the rest of the year, much like Boise and Oregon.

I'll hold you too it. Lemme know how Moroni Chaper 10, verses 3-5 go for ya...
Isn't that the grounds for belief reading?

Not quite sure what is meant by belief reading...?
But people would be surprised to know that the Book Of Mormon was written at the same time as the Bible, by the same prophets of God and Jesus, --JUST on the AMERICAN CONTINENT! I know I was surprised to find that out too!

I honestly don't know if the Bradford thing will hurt them too awful much; he should be back by Miami. Not having the TE severely hampered Bradford, anyway.

What people are failing to look at is the fact that uo was only up on BYU 10-7 WITH him in. (Actually they were tied but kicked a FG on play after he went out) If uo's O Line is as poor the rest of the season as they were yesterday, they are going to have a long season.

ummmm, are we confused, or drunk?
62-3 is not impressive to you? Damn...I know they're not division 1 or anything, but still...I guess we'll have to see how they play against OSU...playing a Div II team might hurt them when it comes to that.

Edit: Oops...I was wrong...Florida played CSU, not USC...USC won 56-3 against San Jose St...that was impressive.

Before Bradford went out, BYU missed a mid-range field goal, fumbled into the end zone (for an OU touchback), and got picked off once leaving the Sooners with a short field. I think OU fumbled twice in the first half too.

I can't say BYU was dominant but that goal line sequence at the beginning of the fourth quarter should have NEVER happened. That interference call was on third down, meaning BYU held them out six straight plays. Then a delay of game from the 1 on fourth down? That was pathetic.

Well I dont care enough to look at OUs schedule coming up, but it seems that losing your best player and having a frosh step in with limited playing is never a good thing.
You are def right though, looks like the Oline is going to be the focal point for teams preparing to play OU. I foresee lots of blitzes and packages designed to confuse the O line in their future.

Only a few SEC fans probably saw this game and I bet all shocked at the result though. That was the worst thing that could have happened for OU. Hate seeing big time players go down like that.

t.u. fan can love this all they want, but its simple. ou wins with bradford, maybe not by a comfortable margin, as BYU played their ass off, but they win, imo. the game showed me that ou needs their top QB just as bad as t.u. needs McCoy and florida needs Tebow. those teams aren't going anywhere without their starters...so get off it.

USC is the only team that could do it without their starter

    Fixed it for ya!
I would wish UT could play USC again for the NC but I would rather themplay Florida since everyone shlobs the knobs of the SEC so hardcore over any other conference.
Team vs. team, UT against USC, but to shut up the SEC homers, UT vs UF.

Florida would roll UT so hard. It wouldn't even be a fun game to watch.

i can't believe how much t.u. fan overrates their team.

Gotta disagree with you there SEC fan. UT would give Florida a of a game. Everyone thought USC was going to destroy UT in 2006 and look what happened. UT is a pretty damn good team. In fact I fully expect them to run the table on their way to the national championship like they did in 2005-2006.

People forget that Unga was injured for BYU. If you do not know who he is, he has rushed for over 1,000 yards the last two years for BYU, he is their best running back. I am sure that OU would not trade Bradford for Unga if injuries could be avoided, but it did help the OU defense that the best rusher for BYU was sitting on the sideline. The same way in helped the BYU secondary that Bradford was out.
