Macedonians in GReece are not allowed to speak macedonian, they will get beaten up and harrassed all their life, in finding jobs etc. Macedonian airplanes arent allowed to cross greek airspace just because the plane has MK on it. In international sport tournaments they make us use FYROM, somethimes when the clothes says Macedonia, they refuse to play and complain to the organisers, who eventually forces us to take the jackets off. It happened last week at a sailing contest in Serbia. So we left. Ridiculous.
When Macedonians from Australia who were born in the Macedonian part that is now under Greek control return to their home cities and villages, they greek border police looks at their passports and sees that the birthplace still says, the name of the village in macedonian and country macedonia, so policemen simply say; there is no place like that. Go back.
If i wear my Macedonian basketball jersey over there i have to wait hours at the border, they can throw me in jail and have to be afraid some extremist greeks will not molest me.
They made us change our flag in 1994 and now they want to change our name. When a Macedonian car enters Greece it gets vandalized or they return you because there is a MK sticker on the car.
Crazy thing is that 20 years ago they did not even know what Macedonia was, they did not even know about our history and the grandparents of the current greek politicians even recognised our language and our nation. But now they want to steal everything. Hysteria.

You had to see their face when they saw the big macedonian flag, the greeks were going crazy. We lost, deserved, but the one thing we did great, was the fans!

Pathetic finish by Germany against France yesterday. Still, there are people in Germany who actually believe this team has something of a future (just because there are a lot of young players - but having young players who suck isn't exactly the same thing as having a future).
However, I was a bit disappointed with France. Except from Tony taking over at the end, they weren't that great.
or else yeah, but the thing is, we dont do anything "not-good". We just want to live in our country, be named what we are named, use the flag that is our symbol for over 2000 years, make sure that our own history isnt being stolen and be left alone in peace. That's it. We dont have a problem with them, they probably have with us. But all other things are mixed here, there is a big Macedonian minority in northern Greece, which happened to be a part of our country, they conquered it and threated all the macedonians with torture and exodus. We dont want anything extra or any problems, we do not have aspirations to claim things that is not ours, we just want to be ourselves and keep that what we have and what we are.Because this is reality?
They are afraid they will lose a part of the country, which is historically a very important place. Also if truth about history comes out, like what is going on now they have to be ashamed in front of the whole world and their whole existence will be in danger, than it comes out that there is no real ethnically greek nation, and that half of their history is based on lies and stealing from other nations.
But slowly they are losing control over the situation, they cant cover things up anymore with lies and false claims, times are changed now.
But well, enough about this, time to get back to basketball. This german team sucks, Macedonia smashed them one week ago. I was very surprised France had such difficulties with them yesterday. Tony did good though.
Tonight Macedonia plays Israel. We've beat them before, and they are not so tough, we need to win this one to have any chances. I dont know what happened yesterday against the Greeks, but that isnt normal for us, thats not what we are, we did not gave our best, i dont know what their problem was.
Greece against Croatia, I think Greece will win, they are just better, are highly motivated and better finishers than Croatia is. I hope Croatia wins, but we'll see.
Latvia - France should be easy enough for france, i think france can suprise us this tournament, maybe even winning. They had to qualify and were so so, but now, i think they can come very far.
Slovenia - Serbia, Slovenia is missing their best players, their quality has dropped huge, their motivation is down and Serbia showed their class against spain. I think Serbia wins.

Damn what an exciting game it was with Israel, we played good, we leaded almost the whole game, it was kinda scary inthe last 3 minutes, but after a thrilling time, we managed to win! 79-82 Every one of our players seem back in shape except for our captain Vrbica Stefanov.
Germany suprises me, they beat Russia!
