I hate Obama, but I'm sorry to say, there is proof he was born in Hawaii. Not just a birth certificate, but he is listed as a birth in a Hawaii newspaper that day or the next.

Not completely, but I get it now. A quick scan gave me the assumption he was a believer of the slander, and posted without verification.
Still, I don't find any humor in it. It's too sensitive of a subject to be humorous in my eyes. Stuff like that just pisses me of, as much against president Obama as it did against president Bush.
There's obvious joking, then there is also slander that people end up believing. To then turn that into a joke is really low in my opinion.

That's a general property of satire. Although it is usually meant to be funny, the purpose of satire is not primarily humour in itself so much as an attack on something of which the author strongly disapproves, using the weapon of wit.
