Took quite a hit, I'm sure, when their man in the White House was exposed and forced to resign.
doobs, that's all been revised...didn't you get the memo?
So, we have 1 vote that Gore would have gone into Iraq...
Here's a shorter version for you.
hmm.....what if Al Gore had Saddam's son-in-law telling him that he was in charge of Iraq's WMD program and that he over-saw the destruction of Saddam's WMDs....also, what if Al Gore had foreign intelligence telling him that Saddam's WMD program was more bolster than reality....Would Al Gore still have invaded Iraq?
What if Al Gore's parents had decided not to have any children? That would have lessened their family's substantial carbon footprint.
That would have been nice of them.
Gore's only got balls when he's not making the decisions...
The rest of the time, they're in the firm grip of Tipper or some fuzzy, unwashed envirowhacko lady at Environmental Defense Fund.
Possibly this lady...
Standing up for a cause he really believes in isn't 'having balls'?
I did vote...but not for who was printed on the ballot.
When's the last time he debated anyone over his idiotic premise? He's been invited to debate the topic dozens of times.
Really believes in?
If Gore really believed in his cause, he'd -- at the very least -- quit making a carbon footprint the size King Kong. The man believes in money...that's all. He's gotten quite wealthy off of the cottage industry his global warming crusade as spawned.
Doesn't he buy carbon off-sets to make up for his carbon footprint?
And you believe that nonsense works?
Isn't he heavily invested in the carbon offset business? In fact, I'm willing to bet the appreciation of his investment in such companies more than offsets any offsets he buys.
He actually paid his carbon offsets to a company he founded; Generation Investment Management.
Didn't Bush et. al have money in Carlyle, you know the weapons and oil company?
And, a deflection to conspiracy...you lose.

So, Al Gore invested in a company doing something he believed in..
One he founded and from which he profited.
Again, if he believed in his cause, he would end his energy-hogging lifestyle.
When T. Pickens announced he was building windmills all over TX everyone thought he was doing a noble thing for the country, but after he found out there would be very little profit he backed down...didn't Gore take the risk Pickens didn't?
I didn't.
There was no risk to founding a company, hyping a crisis that would cause that company to profit and, then, both invest and buy the company's profit.
If it failed, Gore get's his money back...
Seriously though, Dan; if Gore believed his rhetoric, wouldn't he minimize his carbon-laden lifestyle. The er invented the goddamned internet, for God's sake...can't he use Webinars instead of flying? And, what about the mansion and the houseboats.
That reminds me...I wonder if Barbra Streisand is still hanging her laundry out in the back yard. I wonder if Gore ever started.
Does he use 1 square of TP like Sheryl Crow admonished?
Isn't what Gore has done - bring awareness to Global Climate change - influenced behavior all over the world and led to reduced carbon emission that are likely x1000000 times his carbon foot-print?
You say that as if his crusade were a good thing.
Frankly, I was already aware the climate changes. It's being do so for a lot longer than man has walked the planet.
Deflection...you lose again.
C'mon; tell me why Gore maintains such an extravagant lifestyle with the planet in such perilous balance.
