yup pre-ordered it already, the trailers look awsome, even if the game fails(which i doubt will) i will still enjoy it because of matchmaking.

I am. But after Halo 3 and Wars I'm afraid to spend 60 on this thing even if I got games to trade and get a discount at Game Stop.

I haven't pre-ordered it yet. Hopefully they will still have some in stock that Friday when I get paid.
It's kind of strange to me that we are only a week and a half from it's release and yet NO gaming sites have received a copy to review.
Not saying it's going to be a bad game by console FPS standards, but I really wish -review- sites could actually, you know, review games a few days before they are released so gamers can decide if they want a particular game or not.
It's been leaked for like a week now. Kind of strange IGN, GS, etc... haven't gotten a copy. They might want people to buy it before the reviews are out. It wouldn't surprise me.
I'm not buying it...only a rent.
There's only like 5-6 hours of gameplay along with all the Halo 3 maps. They have a new match type like "Horde" from Gears of War 2, but that's about it.
Honestly I liked playing Halo Wars and Halo 3 much more. I'm waiting for Halo Reach though...I think they are putting 100% behind that effort

I read a review and it actually looks like an interesting concept. I kinda fell outta the FPS genre, but if I went to a gaming cafe or something I'd probably play it for an hour or two.

Its pretty badass so far. The new pistol is sick, and so is the new rifle. You feel much less like a super hero, and a couple of the beginning fights against just a couple dudes are tough. Your health doesnt regenerate all the way either, got to get med packs.

I'd like to think it would be good, but then i remember the animatrix, so i hold my doubts, the graphic novel was pretty good though
I don't mind reading stories on good games but I view the stories as bs that someone just made up to make a quick buck
I mostly read the stories that involved the games
The fall of reach was the origin story
The Flood was just a novelization of the 1st game(wasn't written by the guy who wrote the first/third books) and wasn't that good
The First Strike was between Halo 1 and 2
And Ghosts of Onyx was the only offshoot i read because it told how the SPARTANs that appeared in the books met their end
As for cashing in I never said i paid for them
Anyone who wants to do Campaign just hit me up on XBL and we can play when it's out. 100G just for beating it on normal.
