Naturally the answer to our indebtedness is war. How'd that work out for the Krauts?
US Fires Opening Salvo In Trade Wars With China
Wait until we drop the real bomb and tell you to eat that debt...suckah!"Trade wars between China and the United States is the last thing that our two countries need right now," said Xie Feng, deputy chief of mission for the Chinese Embassy in Washington.
Naturally the answer to our indebtedness is war. How'd that work out for the Krauts?
We must protect the jobs of lazy, overpaid union workers at all costs.
hmmmmmmmm....Why don't the Chinese let their currency float without manipulation?
I love paying more for tires so that some lazy unionbot can have a guaranteed pension.
Meanwhile, the rest of us non-government non-union workers have to fend for ourselves.
So, do we live in a capitalistic global society or not? Where the Unions responsible for R&D not seeing market trends towards smaller fuel efficient cars?
What about the tire workers that aren't unionized?
I heartily encourage Darrin to buy tires manufactured by the Hangzhou Zhongce Rubber Co.
this might interfere with darrin's ability to post from work......and about lazy workers.
Oh yeah, thats the ing difference here.
I hope you were being extremely sarcastic.
You know, I didnt get to your second post in this thread.
You werent being sarcastic. You actually think union workers have anything to do with China and US reliance upon it.
Amazing, truly, youre amazing.
What's even more amazing, Darrin hatred of unions causes him to applaud the flight of American jobs abroad, just on the off chance that a few union workers -- fellow Americans -- will be laid off.
He's a piece of work, that's for sure.
A miracle of resentment, you might say.
We are no longer economy based on manufacturing -- haven't been in a very long time. We absolutely can't compete with China when it comes to producing cheap, plastic crap. We've had the high-tech edge on them for a long time, but our advantage is slowly slipping.
It's not all about unions, but high-paid union employes don't help bring the costs down.
it's ironic, how darrin milks his employer all day long.
when we moved here, these US automakers were honored with the highest respect.
i think it's tragic.
Unions had their place and time and it's not the present.
Self-righteous much?
Enjoy your weekend, Darrin.
You do the same.
Maybe some American workers just cost too damn much.
...against Chinese communist slave labor and Indians whose English is passable enough. All because their cost relative to us non-government non-union workers here in these United States is 1/100th of ours.
But, it's a great time to be a consumer in this land.
This is one thing. But to call them lazy and wish them ill is another.
Maybe he's saying they're lazy considering how much they get paid. If the American is making more money than his foreign counterpart but isn't sufficiently more productive . . . then, yes, he is "lazy" in an economic sense.
Why don't we?
