Great speech, I just wish they'd give more time to a guy that has so many good things to say.
Robinson was great. Warm, from the heart. Duncan, RC, Pop among the Spurs in the audience. Beautiful speech.

Why did they tell David Robinson to keep his speech quick and John Stockton is speaking for like 20 minutes?
I mean, it's a good speech, but that's not quite fair.
DRob's speech gave me goosebumps. It's like going back in time to the late
'90's.
BTW, who is that chick to Jordan's left?
David had written a speech and he didn't get to it because they didn't give him enough time.
I watched the '87 draft lottery on that video link. I had forgotten that Phoenix came up with the second card that year. SA has a long history of slapping down the Suns.

He was going to talk about Pop and but he didn't want to not mention Brown, who was presenting him. You could see he was about to start talking about Pop but praised Brown first who was standing on the stage, and the he forgot to get back to Pop. That's the way I read it.
He forgot to mention Sean Elliott too...and I have a feeling that was the other thing he forgot.
They probably told Stockton to keep it short too...and Stockton probably figured they could go eff themselves.
They want them to keep it short so Mike can talk.

It's kinda disrespectful . . . but it's Tim Duncan, so I guess it's OK.

Jordan's arrogance is unwavering. The other inductees truly are more kindhearted and mature.

It definitely was funny the way he was roasting all those guys in his speech but yeah his arrogance is out of the ballpark. He's the only guy who pull it off without being hateable.

I agree with what you said I should have elaborated more by saying that he's the only one who can get away with it without being hateable by the GENERAL public. I don't hate the guy but I do think he's a prick.
Nobody loves Jordan more than Jordan.
