What a tasteless thing to do but I wasn't surprised since it came from Kanye. Taylor has crossed over so she is not just a country music star and they are the video awards and since she got plenty of play on MTV I don't see what the big deal is since they don't play just one genre of music on MTV. They hardly play videos though.
Kanye's a . Major props to Beyonce for doing and acting the way she did. Also, major props to Taylor for maintaining her composure.
Im just surprised people still watch MTV like its even relevant anymore...

I just tuned in to see the MJ tribute, but I left the tv on while using the pc. Hadn't seen the VMA's since like 2002..... Then I see this asshat rant.. and yeah, he makes good music but honestly it's very forgettable.

Tuned in after someone mentioned it, only to catch Pink's lil circus performance, and quickly flipped it back SNF.
Checked back again, and caught Beyonce's lil "gesture". I don't even recognize people on there anymore. It's weird.
I checked in once or twice during the first hour, saw tons of people that I'd never heard and/or heard of, realized I'm officially older than MTV's demographic, got over it, and switched to "Mad Men." Meh.
