It would be good for the turnament that the team taht hosts the championships will play in QF, and damn what an upgrade for our national team.

Oh yes it is!

It will even be wonderful when Slovenia wins against Turkey in this round and beyond- much as I love Hedo . I greatly hope Turkey comes in second overall with Slovenia finishing first.

As the host, you should give to your guests. Make sure the Gold Medal goes to Slovenia and the Silver to Turkey.

Well unfortunatelly not only is Smodis not healthy, we also don't have a backup point guard right now.
Hopefully Dragic will be back by quarter finals.

Winning against Turkey with current cripple-battalion (damn injuries) is more or less mission imposible, but we seem to be set for solid 2nd place in group.

8 points after group part, same as Spain and then it goes to point difference which is currently +44 for Slovenia and +8 for Spain. As long as we don't lose spectacularly against Turkey and Spain at same time doesn't do a blow-out on Poland we're fine.

In 1/4 final we play with Russia. Difficult but beatable.

Why are you so sure that you will play with Russia? If Russia win Germany(very posible) and France win us(Greece), Grecce will be third in his group. So if you lose from Turkey, it's Slovenia vs Greece, again!

Game Summary

Turning Point: With the game tied at 29-29 late in the second quarter, Slovenia went on a 20-3 run over the next nine minutes to pull away.

Hero: Slovenia center Erazem Lorbek had 10 points in that crucial run and finished with a game-high 20 points. Lorbek also pulled down nine rebounds and dished out five assists while blocking one shot.

Key Stats: Slovenia finished 19 of 33 (58%) shooting from inside the arc while Poland were 15 of 39 (38%).
Slovenia forced Poland into making 15 turnovers.
