I believe it would be less of a hole
Hardly makes for a convincing argument.

    Ah. Fewer coloreds. Question answered.
I don't think it has anything to do with race.mississippi which has a large number of blacks
had itself up and running while New Orleans were squatting on their haunches in their own filth debating about which conspiracy theroy they liked best.
I think rural communities have fewer people and therefore less voters than the urban areas, and so rural areas suck hind ty when it comes to the dole out.It forces people to becomes more reliant on theirselves, while in urban areas ghetto trash try and work the system for all they can, and there is a beauacracy whose occupation and own existence depends on doling out the publics money> I think ACORN has shown us all how corrupt they can be.

"There's another big problem with the photograph: it doesn't include the National Museum of the American Indian, a building located at the corner of Fourth St. and Independence Ave. that opened on Sept. 14, 2004. (Looking at the photograph, the building should be in the upper right hand corner of the National Mall, next to the Air and Space Museum.) That means the picture was taken before the museum opened exactly five years ago. So clearly the photo doesn't show the "tea party" crowd from the Sept. 12 protest."

It's not a fake photo per se -- it's just that some conservatives lied about when it was taken, which was most likely 12 years ago.

How can we trust them about anything if they can't get even the simplest facts straight?

    Propaganda!

I think I was the poster that first introduced that photo to the forum. I got it from a normally reliable source who, apparently got if from one that wasn't. My bad. I apologize.

I think it's a photo of the huge Promise Keepers rally from a few years ago.

Anyway, I'm still waiting on an aerial photo of Saturday's rally. Some media are still estimating the crowd as somewhere north of 1 million but, without photographic evidence or an official estimate, that's hard to say...

Anyway, here's a video and some screen captures from Saturday's rally. The crowd is undeniably huge but without a full aerial photo, there's nothing against which to compare it.

MSNBC estimates 100's of thousands but, stuck with the 10's of thousands because that's the only number they got from any officials. But, if you watch the video, the MSNBC reporter says ("our people think 100's of thousands).

You can see the Capitol way off in the distance, down Pennsylvania Ave. Now lift that crowd from Penn Ave and put it down on the Washington Mall. I think it's a huge crowd.

    Favorite sign:

I can't imagine this is a Republican but, possibly, a disillusioned Democrat?

And, if you watch this video all the way through, I think you'll get a sense this movement, while admittedly comprised mainly of conservatives, is anything but a conservative movement. I think it's a fair report -- let me know what you think.

    I'm interested.

You're right, and it was wrong to perpetuate the falsehood. When I posted it, I didn't know it wasn't authentic.

My new favorite sign from the rally:

And, he opposes Obama because he's black.
