My girlfriend paid 25.00 dollars for only 12 Vicodin pain pills, wtf?
just got off the phone mad because I told her that was to high of a price they should be 1.00 each or 50 cents..
I was kinda pissed I rather have a bag of weed or beer than just 12 pills.

As for the thread at hand, why would you think they would be cheaper than retail? Someone had to pay retail to begin with. Not everyone can pinch pills from relatives.
Depending on the milligrams that's a good deal.

Agreed. Better to do booze or grass. Opiates are the devil's calling card. They'll get their hooks into you, and be damn hard to get rid of. The funny thing is that users think they have it under control.

Illegally sold drugs drive up their market value. Not to get too into conspiracy theory, but that's one reason our government is slow to act on progressive drug laws. Market value needs to be high.Booze isn't a much better choice. You can die from an alcohol withdrawal. You can't die from an opiate withdrawal.

I got both of my lower wisdom teeth pulled out last month. Vicodin's were my savior. Take a vicodin, and I was 100% good to go like normal.
When I ran out, I had to get another refill but the dentist put 0 refills. The pharmacists kept looking at me like I might be an addict, since Vicodin is a controlled substance due to addiction. I was pissed off, cause I knew I do NOT have addiction problems. I am a cold turkey type of guy.
I got the refill from the dentist and once the pain was naturally gone, I haven't even touched the 9 Vicodin pills left over.
So I say BULL to the people who say you can't control your addiction to these things.

Addiction doesn't happen immediately. It occurs over prolonged use. Some people are more prone to addiction than others...these people are called addicts and there's a physiological basis for their addiction, whether it's dopamine or down regulation mediated etc. It's definitely not possible for some people to go cold turkey, and very dangerous to do so in most cases.
Man you should never buy pills pff the street. You have no clue where they came from.
Actually the pills are from a co-worker at my girlfriends job. I just thought people who sell their pills would at least sell them less than what the pharmacy charges. I guess I haven't bought pills off the street since 1998 and I am out of touch with todays market prices. I already took three of them I am pain free but for how long?

Pills off the street? Counterfeit pills with filler and toxins really should be cheaper.
I got some pain meds after foot surgery but have not needed to take any. Even when they asked me if I wanted something for pain I told them I didn't want anything that could be addicting. They gave me generic vicodin.
isnt there generic brands?
