My point is that the CBO (pretty much anything for that matter) is great when it does something somebody agrees with and the devil's work when it doesn't.

Now I agree he does sounds like he's agreeing, but if you listen to him enough, you know he doesn't believe it to be the gold standard himself. He knows the CBO always low-balls numbers, for ideal conditions.
Slighting Hannity, or even seeming to point out his minor inconsistencies, hurts people's feelings.

My deal is... if you're going to say something is bad... say it's bad at all times. Don't just say it's bad when it disagrees with you and praise it when it does.
My experience has him using CBO numbers as a minimum cost. He rejects them for savings, because they are maximum savings.
CBO numbers are based on optimum outlooks. Not reality.
A minor inconsitency in a long line of minor inconsistencies.
I see that as being a universal truth. Instead there are people who want to defend him for no other reason than he's on their team.
I'd be the first in line to on Keith Olbermann and his inconsistencies, but some here are just too tied to their red or blue umbilical cords, they only see what they want.

I have no doubt that the CBO can be / is wrong... often, and I have no desire to defend them.
