I didn't consider her a traitor at all. It's almost pathetic how people ragged on her for just wanting to play basketball in the Olympics.
I mean, Herb Brooks, coached the French Olympic hockey team in 1998. Yes, Herb Brooks coaching the French! Is he a traitor too?
The US denied Becky a roster spot... the same Becky that was runner up MVP the year of the Olympics. She wanted to ball, so she balled with Russia.
While some may be upset by the politics of Becky Hammon playing for our former cold war enemy it is also the politics of Anne Donovan took with the fielding of the U.S. womens basketball team. Her job was to field the best team to represent her country. Becky Hammon was not the runner-up WNBA player of the year because she has a "shoot first - me first" at ude. When she came to San Antonio what made her great was not the increase in points scored but the dramatic increase in games won. She is a leader who makes her team members better.

Totally agreed. Chris Kaman also played the Olympics last season but not representing US, instead he played alongside Dirk on Germany's squad. However, no one has given a flying about him playing for Germany, which was a fascist country during the WWII. But I'm afraid Becky doesn't give a about our loves for her anyways. Anyway, not every woman is so perverse as to someone who's 10+ yrs younger than herself.
Dirty-brown haired girls aren't my favorite though. Becky looks blond in sigz's avatar but I know that's the eclipse of the orange-bright lights, indeed even grandma looks like a blond under such lights.
