    Wow, Romo pisses me off.
I'd like to trade him in, please.

I can't decided who infuriates me more: Romo or Weis (Notre Dame). They both suck.
    Trade for who?

What was Phillips doing at the end at 2:44? Was he trying to show leadership?

NBC 5 and Blue-Star's own Newy Scruggs has reported that Marion Barber, who went down in the fourth quarter of Sunday night's loss to the Giants, will miss one to two weeks with a quadriceps injury.

I guess we now know how to get 90210 to go away for awhile, get the Cowboys to lose.

I wrote a little recap of the game, in addition to pointing out two huge issues the Cowboys face.

I should have a preview of the Panthers game posted hopefully by Friday.

    Tony Dorsett weighs in:

    http://blogs.mysanantonio.com/weblog...-by-romos.html

Hall of Fame running back Tony Dorsett says Tony Romo "hasn't done much" as an NFL quarterback, an opinion many fans no doubt share after watching the New York Giants turn three Romo interceptions into 21 points Sunday night.

"I don't know why on God's earth Tony Romo has been anointed a superstar in the National Football League," Dorsett told Fox Sports Radio on Tuesday. "Tony is very young in his career. Not to say you can't be young in your career and be a superstar because you've got one up there in Minnesota in Adrian Peterson. But the thing is this: you have a guy who hasn't done much and quarterbacks in the National Football League, most of them go through this growing curve. He hasn't gone through that growing curve, but he was anointed this great player all of a sudden. Now he's having to live up to that. And obviously Tony has some deficiencies.

"But, he's a good player who's still learning how to play in the National Football League and I think the media has given him too much credit for doing nothing. He hasn't done anything really in the National Football League to deserve all the recognition and visibility that he's gotten so far."

Dorsett's career rushing record with the Cowboys was topped by Emmitt Smith.

LMAO you still think thats me, thanks I guess. Plus come on you have to admit, Romo hasnt earned all the hype he has gotten over the last few years. If he was any other team he would never be talked about.

ing Wade Phillips is a joke. Horrible HC. He likes to have his D in a soft zone and let the opposing QB make mistakes. Problem is, when you face a good QB like Manning, he's not going to make those mistakes lets say a Byron Leftwitch will make. ing stupid splitting his time as HC and DC.

It makes me cringe just knowing that Wade is a head coach. He is a ing dumb ass and I hate the way he looks.

I'll give you a piece of advice. Don't come to a defense of your troll. You only out yourself that way CowboyHater. But its cool, a valient effort on your part, but a faliure as well.

Oh, and Cowboy fans are highly criticle of their team. If you visit any Cowboy board you will see more Romo hate threads than anything you will find here. But I'll still take Romo over ALOT of other QBs in the league. But that is not to say I wont bash him when he plays stupidly like he did on Sunday.

I don't think that Dorsett was criticizing Tony as much as he was criticizing the media. At least that is what I took from those quotes.

Nate Newton was reporting Barber was at practice in full pads saying he feels good and should feel good for Monday.

While it’s been reported Marion Barber would miss Monday’s game against Carolina with a strained quad, the running back isn’t ready to put him on the shelf just yet, at least he’s not saying it.
In a rare interview with reporters, Barber was short with his answers, but said he was feeling good and is hoping to play against the Panthers.
“I’m good . . . I’m good today,” Barber said during Wednesday’s open locker room period. “If I’m good today, I’ll be good tomorrow and I’ll be good for Monday.”
Of course, running backs coach Skip Peete was more hesitant.
“Right now, I have no idea,” Peete said. “He said he feels good. There’s a lot of days when I don’t feel great but I tell everyone I feel good. We’ll see what happens and see what he can do. If he’s capable of doing some things, we’ll see.”
The Cowboys will practice this afternoon at Valley Ranch. It’s likely that Barber will be held out of action. Remember, the Cowboys do have an extra day to prepare with the Monday night game.

So the record sell out on Sunday night really was not a record. They counted the thousands that were standing outside watching the game on TV.

IRVING, Texas - The Cowboys resumed practice on Wednesday, with an extra day to prepare for the Carolina Panthers on Monday.
And despite suffering a quad injury that had some media reports suggesting he would miss Monday's game, Marion Barber was out at practice, at least for the first few minutes open to the media.
Because of the extra day of workouts, the Cowboys are not required to give an official injury report, so it's unclear just how much Barber practiced with the team. But he did participate in a few passing drills and appeared to be running without much problem.
Barber on the practice field wasn't the only surprise of the day. The running back also chatted for a couple of minutes with reporters, a rarity for Barber, who said he was feeling good and is hoping to play against the Panthers.
"I'm good . . . I'm good today," Barber said during Wednesday's open locker room period. "If I'm good today, I'll be good tomorrow and I'll be good for Monday."
Barber, who not only scored the first touchdown of the new Cowboys Stadium but also rushed for a 124 yards, suffered the injury at the end of a 35-yard run late in the fourth quarter. He immediately came up holding the quad and said Wednesday it was a feeling he's had before.
"Just like a bad cramp," Barber said. "I've felt it before. It's happened to me before. It's sore. It felt real similar. But I'm treating it like I should. I'm feeling good."
Of course, running backs coach Skip Peete was more hesitant.
"Right now, I have no idea," Peete said. "He said he feels good. There're a lot of days when I don't feel great but I tell everyone I feel good. We'll see what happens and see what he can do. If he's capable of doing some things, we'll see."
Last year Barber suffered calf and toe injuries that caused him to miss one game in Pittsburgh, and he was limited in the last three games to just 13 total carries. So it will be interesting to see how the Cowboys treat Barber, especially so early in the season. And with both Felix Jones and Tashard Choice available to play, it could make sense for the Cowboys to hold Barber out for this game.
Either way, Peete said he expects his two second-year backs to have an extended role.
"They're going to have to step up this week," Peete said of Choice and Jones. "I really don't know (Barber's) situation. But this is why we practice. We're going to get those two guys ready to play."
The Cowboys also added second-year tailback Chauncey Washington to the practice squad, but it's unlikely they will move him up to the 53-man roster this week.
