My dad gave me money every Christmas until he died, no matter how many times I told him that he did not need to do it.
my mommy stills gives money to me, and my sister, and we are both in late 40s.
She will do it until she's gone, no matter what we say...
but like someone already said, when it stops, that will mean my mom is gone...

I ALWAYS get money from my grandparents for my birthday. It's gotten less & less over the years. Due to the fact that they don't have much money & are on very fixed income. I'll be 33 in Feb & I guarrantee I'll get $10 in a card from them. I tell them that they don't need to, but I am very greatful for that $10. They even send my wife $10 for her bday. She just got hers on 9/8.They'll send $5 to my daughter for her 3rd bday next month. I love my grandparents.
