I was an engineering technician for a place that did rapid research and design, for four years. I'll never forget the day an engineer I got along with great, asked me what I though of a particular design he he just made on AutoCad, asking my opinion. Should have seen the look on his face when I asked "how are you going yo get the screw there?"
Engineering is a tough job. Even the really good ones make mistakes, and to be the best at it, takes a God given talent that a person just cannot learn.
