Carpenter will end up having 27 or maybe 28 starts and pretty close to 200 innings. I don't think that hurts his chances. And, his WHIP is ridiculous at 1.01 (although Dan Haren has a 0.96 WHIP wow!).

If I had a vote, I'd probably give mine to Carpenter.
