I'm sick of this . The Niners don't need him and I really hope they don't sign him, much less give in to his monetary demands. Michael Crabtree, I hope he gets hit by a bus. (Not killed, but enough to end his playing days)

    story follows...

He should work out with Mike Williams and Charles Rogers while they work out his contract.

I love in the article where the uncle said, "it takes a village to raise michael". So he's obviously used to being babied and pampered. Also LOLed when the TT coach talked about him boo-hooing when he thought he couldn't play. This basically means he knew he couldn't finish school and football was all he had. What a princess...

I had a friend of mine that tried to convince me that Crabtree would go top ten if he stayed the course and re-entered the draft. He even bet me 50 bucks.

He might at well give me the money on Nov. 17th.

Teams probably won't draft him next year until much later. He's already shown he's a holdout . Who'd waste a top pick on that? By the time he's drafted, he won't have played for like 15 months. This has Maurice Clarett epic fail written all over it.

Exactly. Who wants a trouble maker like that. If the Jets are serious, the Niners should trade his ass.

I hope this gets drafted by the Rams and never sniffs the playoffs in his career. This is everything that's wrong with pro sports. Stingy agents, dollar signs and athletes who say they love the game when they really just love the money.

When I first heard about this, I felt the exact same way. Now that I see what they're offering him compared to the WR who got drafted just a couple slots before him, I kinda understand a little bit more.

He should have just taken the offer but both sides are a little at fault.

Uh, that's what his draft slot pays. That's how it works. He'll have his chance to prove his worth after his rookie deal. The cream rises to the top. If he's "cream", he'll do fine. If he isn't, then the rookie deal protects the team.

Word on the street is that he caused his own draft drop by being a in his pre-draft interviews.

Since we're calling Crabtree a , I think this video applies...

But instead of, "stop sleeping with those guys", change it to, "stop drafting those guys"
