wait......wasn't he heralded by Spur Fan as the 2nd coming of Bruce Bowen?
nope...nice try though. The Spurs were trying to bring him in for Bruce to work with...he just didn't have the tools.
Yeah, until Pop ran him off calling him everything but a white man.
I'm surprised T-long didnt create this thread
Good for Ime. It's nice to see other teams pick up players the Spurs have cast off, albeit unenthusiastically. I don't suppose anyone will sign Jockstrap.
I hope he has the same success he did there last time. Us Spurs fans had really high hopes for him, but he turned out to be an enormous defensive turnstile in San Antonio.
He couldn't. He was at the Udoka signing parade.
wait.... wasn't Drew Gooden a finished garbage player to mav fan last year?
...then we saw him play.![]()
Now he's an "important asset"
Flip Flop ain't just something ya wear year round in Texas.
Was that back when Spur fan called him the missing piece to the championship puzzle, right before getting slapped 4-1? Looks like Spur fan is the only one who changed his tune on Drew Gooden.
errrr....Ime was one of the reasons you guys handed us Scola and hoped V-span wouldn't report. They allowed you to sign Ime. I remember how high you guys were on the board about him. You did say he would be Bowen's replacement.
yet Cuban still signed him![]()
Ouch! Yeah, you Spurs guys ain't been duly punished over this Scola mistake. I'm a little ignorant of the particulars, but, I smell a rat, a big stinky, hairy one, and I'll get to the bottom of it, and when I do, woe be to Spurs Fandom.
tee, hee.
I'll sit back and watch this one.
Ime was an intriguing player when he was 'on' both ends. Sadly, he usually required shots to warm up and wasn't much of a defender except on the block, where his lack of size tended to expose him.
Funny how Mavs fans like to talk alot of when the Spurs were missing one of their 3 top players on the team and quite possibly the clutchest out of all 3 in Manu....
Good luck for Blazer fans.
i doubt he sees much time on the floor but he always liked portland so he will be happy there
Ime is from here so that will be good for him. I'm not convinced he'll make the team though.
