i know you can change the ratings, the fact that they obviously are biased is what pisses me off!!! they do it every year to us, and when the lakers season sucks they give them the benefit and make them a lil better than their supposed to b,now after we win a le we are still lower than the people that lost to us in the wcf, its just bull already and im going to burn the game and hand it out to my friends, you guys should do the same. they hate the spurs=i hate them=ill make them lose money wow i just went manic lol

lol There is nothing new about that. At times, it seemed as if people forgot that there are 30 teams in the league. 90% of the time you'll see a combination of these 8 teams: Lakers, Cavs, Magic, Celtics, Nuggets, Suns, Bulls, and the Hawks. Sometimes you'll find a Hornets, or Grizzlies game, but they'll just pass to Tyson Chandler, and Rudy Gay so they can just dunk in traffic.

The 2005 game has us at an 82 lower than the lakers,suns,grizzlies, and a lot of other scrub teams at the time.

I noticed that too in the original post in this thread. Obviously, they're not going to have Bogans on the roster, who just signed, but no Mahinmi, who's going into his third year under contract with the team? No Williams, who's been under contract since late last season? No Haislip, who's been under contract since July (incidentally, the same day Hairston officially signed, whom they have in the game)?

At the very least, hopefully they have a significant numbers of created player spots, to somewhat make up for this.

The ratings are terrible. Duncan should be 91-92; Garnett should be 89-90. The problem with these ratings in games is that Garnett trumps Duncan in the athletic related categories: Quickness, speed, dunking and jumping. They always overdo it with Garnett's ball handling and passing, which is no better than Duncan's. Also, McDyess should be rated higher than Mason, not three points below him.

So many errors I could go on and on about. Rondo 87? Jefferson 4 points below Artest? etc. What a mess.

I'm as big a Duncan fan as anyone, but no player should be rated 98. In fact, I'd suggest 95 should be the high end, with 60 the low end.

1st flaw - Where's Ian? it's the third straight year they fail to put him on the roster. I wanted to see Haislip there too.

2nd flaw - Grizzlies team = Spurs team. BS.

3rd flaw - Rondo 87, Parker 84. Goddamn Rondo is so overrated.

I love 2K, these ratings are just straight re ed tho.... and for the people saying make adjustments. That doesn't work for online, which is how the majority of people play.

and how can they not have Ian and Haislip... very disappointing.


Hate, hate, hate the online players that just play with Kobe/Lebron... and I hate how near impossible to stop they make those 2. I'm pretty good, and I prefer to be the Spurs, but it's soooo hard to have a good record with them online. I had to go with the Magic alot last year, cause just like in Madden I refuse to be the Patriots, I won't be Lakers or Cavs in NBA. But every other got is them everytime. 8 out of 10 online games you will play one of those 2 teams... gets really old even if you're winning.

Lets say that's the case, how many times has NBA 2k10 become really hard to play online. It will fix the sliders online. As for the rosters, you know they update it every once in a while, so it's fresh. I bet Parker's rating is gonna go higher and R. Jefferson should stay the same until he proves that he's a better player than he's hyped up to be. The ratings are fine, but not perfect as everyones thinks it should be.

lol... that IS the case, no 2 ways about it.... but yea, they'll definitely have some gameplay patches for download, and probably change some ratings while they're at it, hopefully they do it pretty early on.

I remember in either 8 or 9, the bull double-team button they had, and before the patch, everytime you got doubled, you got tied up for a jumpball or stolen... if you wanted to pass out of it, you had to be quick and have a good pass rating. Man that was horrible.
