Goonies, any 80's teen flicks.
Valley Girl - it does not need to be re-made. Thanks.
Slap Shot

taxi driver
is this a what are you favorite movies thread or a stupid remake thread?
As far as I can tell, all these movies were made by Hollywood studios -- so the OP doesn't seem to make much sense.
and why is Hollywood in quotes in the thread le? Is there a real Hollywood that makes ty movies, and then a fake "Hollywood" that makes tier ones?
Why did you use the quotes? Are you implying that we are not actually here?
No way could anything resembling Taxi Driver be made in today's market. I'm surprised it was made back then...which is part of what makes it such an achievement.
The Karate Kid (apparently Will Smith's kid is doing a remake, pathetic!)
No movie should ever be remade.
Come up with new .
The Road Warrior or the Warriors - do not remake them
eh
I'd like to see GOOD, CLASSY, non-cheesy remakes of :
Ben-Hur (charleston heston version)
Gone with the Wind
Singing in the Rain
There are several classic movies that do not need to be remade, remaked or whatever. That's the point of this thread. Not what your favorite movie is.
citizen kane; casablanca; the maltese falcon; the third man; butch cassidy and the sundance kid; the good, the bad and the ugly; the wild bunch; 2001 a space odyssey, clockwork orange, taxi driver, back to the future, animal house, caddyshack, dirty harry, the great escape...
The Hanson Brothers!!![]()
House Party
I approve of that list.
Oh yea, that's a masterpiece.
http://www.imdb.com/ le/tt0423512/ they are already doing it
"Throw LadyPandaSpur from the Train"![]()
Why would "remaked" be an option?
A Nightmare on Elm Street
The Karate Kid
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
oops, too late
![]()
come on, SA. you're into film. willy wonka and the chocolate factory wasn't remade. no such remake.
!!!!I thought you were a guy!
Surprised no one has mentioned this but Shawshank Redemption should never be touched...ever
I only wish Singin' in the Rain had been shot in a widescreen format. I don't think there could be any way to recapture the spirit of those Gene Kelly films.
