I just finished reading "An Indecent Obsession" by Colleen McCullough. It's about a nurse who runs an Australian psych ward for soldiers at the close of WWII. It was a decent read, but not quite up to "The Thorn Birds".
Why is it that people get mad at you for not acknowledging when they insist on addressing your from 6 ft away and behind you?
