The Spurs have a crowded roster at this point. The Spurs have mentioned that Duncan, mcDyess, Finley and maybe Ginobili might sit out some or all back2back's. Depending on how that rotation works, it might give playing time to Ratliff, Hairston and other players who don't look like they have rotation spots.
Big props to spursdotcom for the interviews and to PhilaChamberlain for the little tidbits on todays first practice.
Maybe Blair got a lot of ribbing re his comment on Phil Jackson being the greatest coach or something along those lines.. I thiink he's smart to keep his comments concise.

Damn, the pointless argument that cons uted half of this thread reminded me of the cut scene in the first God of War game that only played if you failed to save some people in the last boss fight (caught myself from spoiling an over 4 yr old game, still don't want to ruin it for anyone), hope there are some action gamers here who know of what it is I speak. After going back to the first page of the thread, I realized benefactor was the main cause of all this bs, with his oh so clever giant RIF pic. I'm not saying TD's constant "internet copz!!!" cards weren't annoying as , and if he can't understand divulging sources is bad regardless if you're media or not then no one here can help him, but he wasn't the only one at fault. People attacking him was uncalled for, and "paying it forward" in a condescending way does not help matters, neither does making up quotes. I know I justright now, but I had to throw in my $0.02.
Hopes this doesn't somehow make its way to the Day 2 thread.
P.S. Finally watched Blair's video, he does seem physically tired, like ericb said. I don't get the big head thing, I did notice the elf ears though.But seriously, I'm not as excited as whoever ordered Blair's jersey off spurs.com, but if he is here for a couple years, I might get his jersey. Still need a Robinson and Tony jersey, i only have a home jersey for Manu, and a visitors jersey for Tim. Wish I didn't get the white because it's easier to get dirty, but Tim's (and that's the newer jersey) numbers are already flaking, freaking jcpenny.
I'm getting visitors jerseys from now on.

P.P.P.S. Love Dyess' obvious excitement, just wish he had ditched the loyalty earlier, and I'm glad he knows he'll be officially a C. After the failed Bonner experiment, he'll look like the perfect center to us Spurs fans.

This off season i havent heard much from Bonner, whats his take on the roster... And if SPURS FO have him in there plans.....
My impression is he's a low key guy off the court. A bit different when he's on.
I hope that is a resounding no, unless Blair, Ian, Theo, and Haislip ALL crash and burn spectacularly... Then the Spurs're ed unless a trade for Bonner+Blair+Theo+Haislip+Fin for Dwight is in the works. Too bad I don't do drugs, or that might seem like a possibility.

More than Williams, imo. But I have no basis for that until I see both of them play in the same number of NBA games. For me, I will have to see Williams play over a 100 NBA minutes to get an accurate comparison, but then he might never get a chance to go all out like Hairston did in the infamous Denver game. And I would have rather Pop not make it seemingly impossible for them to both make it, what with signing Bogans when Manu, Mason, Hill, and Hairston were all available for the SG minutes to start (I know Hill is a combo guard, and Hairston will prob play SF more than anything). But there might be a trade in the works that would free up another roster spot. Or Mahinmi/Haislip get the axe instead, I'd rather Haislip bounce then lose one of MW, Ian, or Hairston.

What's so wrong about asking a guy who posts inside information to divulge where it is he's getting the information from? He can either answer that or not, but I see no issue with asking the question.
