I've always been a big fan of mimic threads. Too bad this crowd seems slow to catch on.
They can be really hit or miss, sometimes you gotta try though...
Actually, an 'animal' being 'alive' is just an idea.
"Life" is just a human concept. Is a rock alive? Is anything that has energy alive? Electrons fly around a nucleus, are they alive?
Is electricity alive when it moves from place to place, attracting itself to metal or the ground?
In the same way, are complex cells who attract themselves to oxygen and water, thus converting energy to replicate, is this alive?
They are all just different versions of the same thing.
