the officer decided beacuse he said that the insurance would take care of it obvisouly he was wrong but its about $250 which is crap its jsut a nightmare

BUT I PROBABLY WILL GO CHEAP AND GET THE PARTS FROM A JUNK YARD . how do i go by that i call them and ask them if they have a cavilier parts and just take them?

go to the junkyard and pull the yourself if your dead set on keeping the car. Otherwise, as people have said, its not worth paying someone to fix it. Sell it (or donate it for a tax writeoff) to a junk yard and get another car.
