it's kind of funny that our #28 pick in Mahinmi pretty much has the same exact impact and style as Portland's #1 overall pick..the difference is that there's nobody that we missed out on to regret, while Kevin Durant is balling in OKC..

Artest doesn't bang against men, he only beats women and fans..he's a true Laker..

LOL @ bone to bone..we're paying our dude 2nd round money, while LA is throwing 50+ mil at Andrew "moist" Bynum..

What yall think? Assuming Blair is a beast, who's minutes does he eat?
I don't know, but if he's hungry, let the kid eat.

Hes already bone to bone. One bump against Artest and he's toast.
You're confusing his lack of ACLs with cartilage damage like your boy Bynum has. Blair's knee is perfectly cushioned, it's just that his stability comes from the surrounding muscles instead of ligaments.

Sure, it was a preseason game, but Blair played against most of the players who would've played regularly for Houston and still beasted. He is legit.

Perhaps he is but it's still preseason. Before we crown him the "second coming", let's see how he does during the season against the all pros. He'll probably have good/band games.

Don't mean to sound like a party pooper...as a Spurs fan I'm happy he's off to a great start. And I hope he gets better as the season progresses.

    How did Manu look?

I was at the game. Loved the way Blair manhandled Scola. I mean the guy has heart and guts. Don't care what any opposing fans say, we found ourselves a beast!

“I did what coach Pop asked of me and that was to rebound,” said the rookie forward from Pittsburgh. “Everything else came after that. I just have to put forth a lot of energy and rebound.”

THAT'S RIGHT THAT'S WHAT SPURS BASKETBALL IS ALL ABOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it will be Mcdyess, Blair, Ratliff with Bonner on the IR most games depending on the matchup. If we can take advantage of pirimiter shooting subs ute Blair with bonner.
