He is a good player, and he fits into Rick Adelman's offense beautifully.....I think we have found our Peja...

Budinger hasn't been compared by his college coach to Sean Elliott for nothing.

Dude has a 42" vertical. He's crazy athletic. Forget he's white. The guy shoots 3 ptrs like there's no tomorrow. Quick release
"Reggie Miller"????
I'm guessing you didn't watch him play against a team that was trying to win (Boston). He played against our third and fourth string. No validity there.
He played pretty well, his shot just didn't go down...happens to everyone....he still contributed.....and looked great....
And wasn't that Roger Mason flying by on that pump fake Budinger gave him?

Budinger is an elite athlete, even by NBA standards. He recorded a 38.5 inch vertical, good for equal third in the entire pre draft camp. He had decent sprints and agility scores too. He has a good chance of becoming more than just a shooter, like finish at the rim off of cuts and drives off curls because of that athleticism. He's ball handling obviously needs a lot of work - but he is a very good athlete... so he has a chance to become more than just a 3 point specialist.
I was real surprised he dropped so low.
A very accurate description of Chase. He arrived at Arizona with a ton of hype, but never quite lived up to the high expectations. He would have phenomenal games for the Wildcats, but then there were times it seemed he would give up.
If he toughens up, he'll have a good career.
Chase is a more athletic version of former U of A standout and former steady NBA player Jud Buechler. They have the same background in that Volleyball was their other primary sport and they could dominate at that game. Jud made a creer of being a steady role player and if Chase has the same work ethic, he'll be just like Jud. Steady and reliable, not quite starter material but could start if needed, like in case of injury. He'll do more help than harm.
