So let me understand you correctly...
Its Iceland's politicians fault for being pressured by EU standards to privatize their banking system (a la IMF standards), then allowing private bankers to run roughshod over said banking system...the same banking system that was used and abused like here in America?
This is Iceland's fault that the Brits, knowing the banking system was in default, started loaning out billions of Icelandic money to chosen British citizens and now Britain wants their money + interest?
This is alllllll Iceland's fault.
man...your entire stance just makes me happier Iceland is taking the stand it is. I hope more follow so these banks/countries get royally ed in the ass. They are the cause of all the world's problems.
You said, "dont borrow more than you can pay". HA!
Any other crumbs of wisdom you wish to bestow from TheoryWorld? Because reality says every Western country
in the world borrows more than it can pay. Its the standard organizations like the IMF want you to follow, and require it for membership, now the EU has adopted the same policy.
They want you to leverage your country to the hilt so they (the banking establishments) will have every country by the balls financially (you know, the only thing that matters), every developed and undeveloped country in the world debt-ridden, low standard of living, broke, no disposable income, every dollar/Euro/Yen in circulation will have an interest rate attached that these ing vultures can count on.
No...no, no, no.
I applaud Iceland, I hope other countries do the same. Play their game, borrow all their fake, created-from-thin- ing-air wealth and demand conditions similar to Iceland or
default on it wholesale.
Either way, it weakens them and strengthens the soveirgnty of nations, not corporate banks and international ins utions with self-serving, world financial domination aspirations.
Wars will be fought over this issue if more start following Iceland's model...and tell me, how could a bank start a war?
I am quite surprised with people of your intelligence cant see the over-arching implications at play here. Do you blame the American people for TARP? Do you
really? Do you find no fault in banks approving hundreds of thousands of dollars to families making less than $40k a year? you see no fault with a bank that would make such a risky loan? Nevermind hundreds of thousands of loans all at the same time?
Its the same . They, the banks, are trying to buy countries by way of overwhelming debt obligations. Small countries like Iceland are just the beginning, the big fish are next.
I am surprised you dont see this.
