I too have certain issue with Obama, but still feel as if this administration is fairly new and should be allowed a chance regardless of my own political leaning. regarding your question, that is absolutely ing ridiculous to think that the Commander in Chief should ever have to apologize to his troops for their service or where they serve. Would any of those American boys that died in any of the Bush lead conflicts want an apology for their sacrifice? Absolutely not. They were given orders and made the most selfless and glorious sacrifice in the name of this country and it's populace. Afghanistan of the two major conficts of this decade was certainly the most necessary. We did away with a brutal Taliban led government, which is more than the Soviets could say. You remember the Soviets right? From your the newpapers of your young adult life, 1917? But the hard part is maintaining stability within the region, which is what Obama (and probably whoever Prez. comes after him) has inherited.
That's nice of ya. Bush never had a moment's peace from day one of his first administration. Now of course you want an old fashioned presidency where regardless of grudges we're to pull together and act like somebody.
