Actually the Sports grind knows JUST as much as anyone else that comes on during the day.
I'm confused and maybe some of you can help me out, wouldn't radio stations want good programming so people would listen?
Is it just me or does A LOT of the local radio SUCK.
Yesterday driving home from work I flipped between The Ticket 760 and ESPN and found both host just freaking annoying.
Taylor, who sometimes knows his stuff, babling on about the top sports city. Hey Taylor if you've never been to a city to watch a sports team, don't comment on their fans.
Then I flip over to ESPN radio to hear them babling on about...well nothing that's important.
Oh Oh...then, the Sports grind -- which has to be the worst show in the city -- sorry guys, these guys never seem to do their homework before they go on air and just talk about that doesn't matter -- to anyone.
Come San Antonio sports programming directors, how about we get some on the air that makes sense and is interesting, but most of all, how about we get some guys or girls on air that know what the f-their talking about. Open up your minds and maybe even your wallets to bring in some talent. I learned this at my Palo Alto business class last week - sometimes you have to spend money to make money.
Just my rant I guess, but I f-in tired of driving home and listening to ty sports talk hosts that have no clue.

The only that is listenable is Chris and Jason. Even then they are pretty ing annoying. But it's not that bad.

I've been PM'ing Burns here and he told me that they are working on it with Greco, but like I quoted him from back in the summer, it sure seems like it's taking along time. He also mentioned the money thing and how The Ticket doesn't have any. But if I remember right, I could have sworn greco said he'd do it free on the message board. I just can't seem to find it. Whether that's true or not I have no idea, but at least try him out.
I'm with you 100% on greco Paki. He's fresh, entertaining, and unlike some of these other ass clowns on the radio here, knows his stuff and breaks it down so even dumb ass like some of the people in here can understand.
Good to see others getting on the bandwagon. I'll tell you what, if ESPN wanted to put a dagger in the Ticket, maybe they get him over to ESPN.
Now that would be a great San Antonio soap opera right.? Greco whos been doing The Ticket every Friday morning and filling in for the guys when they're out turns his back because they took too long and joins Chris, Jason, and the Coach on ESPN Radio. Queue the
controversy music.

Well this started off as rant from yesterday. I think we've come to the conclusion, at least during the afternoon programming.
So let me ask this then, maybe someone in here knows, because I sure don't. Do the people have a voice when it comes to the radio station and its hosts. I've heard "stop listening", but if there are a load of people in here that feel the same way, at least by the 1594 threads, could there be a collective group of e-mails or letters to try and change this? Would make sense, but not sure what the effect would be.
Trying different things to maybe make a change, that's all.
Stream 1310 The Ticket and never deal with local sports radio again...

First of all, thank you guys for your support I really appreciate. Trust me I'm working very hard to try and get things worked out with Peter and The Ticket.
Hopefully at some point things can come together and we'll get moving on something.
As far as the ESPN thing, LOL, that was pretty good pal, totally enjoyed it.

I will tell you that I'll keep trying to do what I do, the inquire is out to the Ticket and now I'm just being patient. But, I have a good feeling about this and if it doesn't work it, I'll try to do some other things. It's going to happen at some point though I promise ya that.

Actually pal, NO. I use it because in the past I had two guys stealing my work and placing it on their site without my consent, charging people, and not giving me the credit for the work. I use it to protect myself, not to obese about myself.
