And sons I take back what I said about Pierre Garcon, dude had some balls tonight facemasking Rodgers-Cromartie and what not. Actually the Colts pretty much made that fool look like a bust all night, but Garcon opened a can.

When Gonzalez and Sanders get back this team is going to be mad ing stacked. Oh and Donald Brown is good. Should just play Addai as WR now.

^No . I've lost patience with Addai. I want to see Donald Brown with some more touches. Can't wait to get Sanders back!

But on a serious note, a friend sent me this. Hope its not too serious. Didn't see anything on the official site.

    Freeney heard "something pop"

Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on September 28, 2009 9:50 AM ET
The complete team effort by the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday night in their 31-10 win over the Cardinals was perhaps the most impressive performance of the day.

But the win could come with a gigantic asterisk if defensive end Dwight Freeney is seriously injured.

Freeney reportedly "heard something pop" in his quadriceps during a play in the third quarter against Arizona, according to the Associated Press. It was one of the few plays all night Freeney wasn't making Kurt Warner run for his life; Freeney was a blocker when he got hurt.

Before the injury, Freeney hit Warner four times, including two sacks and a forced fumble.

"They were trying to single block him," said defensive end Robert Mathis.

The performance was a reminder that Freeney is almost as important to the Colts defense as Peyton Manning is to their offense. Freeney will undergo an MRI Monday to determine the severity of the injury.

    I hope it's nothing serious.
When I get to work, I'll ask around and see if anyone has heard anything.

Hayden didn't play either. The full on face ing will ensue when everyone's back.

I don't know how many holding penalties were called on the Cardinals, but however many there were it still wasn't enough. Mathis and Freeney were doing some ungodly deeds on that O-line

Speaking of Freeney, he is only out 2-3 weeks with a grade 1 quad strain (least severe type of quad injury). So he should be back for the St. Louis game after the bye. Could have been a lost worse.

Mora: Don't expect Hasselbeck or Jones on Sunday

By GREGG BELL (AP) – 21 hours ago
RENTON, Wash. — The Seahawks are planning to be without quarterback Matt Hasselbeck and best blocker Walter Jones again on Sunday.
Coach Jim Mora said Wednesday he does not expect his three-time Pro Bowl passer or his nine-time Pro Bowl left tackle to play at the undefeated Indianapolis Colts.
The 34-year-old Hasselbeck, who broke a rib 10 days ago, still can't run and still has pain when he takes a deep breath. So Seneca Wallace is expected to make his second consecutive start. Wallace set career highs of 26 completions, 44 attempts and 261 yards passing last weekend in a last-minute loss to Chicago.
Mora said he doesn't know for sure if Jones, who has yet to play this season, will play at all in 2009.
The team will back off pushing the 35-year-old Jones through practice this week, because his left knee has pained him during practices in each of the last two weeks. Jones had his second knee surgery in nine months in August. The first one was a microfracture surgery that drilled holes into bone to regenerate cartilage.
"We have to give him some time. I think he's earned that," Mora said. "He's had a distinguished career. He's exhibited toughness his entire career. No one can question his commitment to this game — it's really beyond reproach. So we just have to be patient and let him work through this, and then make the best decision for the team when we feel it's necessary."
Jones has refused interview requests recently, saying through team spokesmen that he wants to play first before commenting.
Mora met with his star on Monday. Was Jones discouraged?
"About how he felt physically? Maybe a little, but not where he was just in tank," Mora said. "More concerned like, 'I want to get right, because I want to be on the field with my teammates helping them win.'"
Seattle (1-2) does expect to have linebacker Lofa Tatupu back from a hamstring injury against the Colts.

We have Freeney out, but at least they have Walter Jones out.

So how many TDs does Peyton pass for during this game? I say a cool 4 more.

Colts played one of a game. Their defense is playing really good.

But is it me, or does everything point to a Sunday night lost against ans?

    Go Colts Go!
Have you seen Peyton play at all this year?

Peyton is mad he didn't get a chance to play in overtime last year because they flew in refs from Israel at the last minute. He's on a mission from God.

Peyton Manning is 33. He has 342 touchdown passes, third-most of all-time. He is 127 behind Brett Favre. Let's say Favre puts up 18 more and Manning finishes the year 125 behind Favre. Manning's going to obliterate the record. I'll be surprised if he doesn't get to 500 while still playing effectively, consistently.

So after five games it's apparent that Pierre Garcon's balls are at least twice as big as Marvin Harrison's ever were. Pierre isn't a better receiver than Harrison, but dude isn't afraid of blocking or any contact period the way that Harrison was. It's nice to see that from a young player.

This team is 5-0 without its No. 2 receiver and Bob Sanders, while also starting two rookie cornerbacks filling in for injured starters.

Btw Tim Jennings sucks. He's improved from last year but teams know he is our worst DB and purposely pick on him. Seems like dude is always two or three steps off his man.

Peyton is -2 from where he was at this point the season he broke the TD record but with the Rams coming up I think he can get back on track. I think this might be the first Eff You season by the Colts since Manning's been here. And they're doing it without signal stealing.

I wonder what happened to the people (both on here and in the media) who thought the ans were gonna take the divison again. All the Colts have to do is not turn into last year's Broncos and the playoffs will be wrapped up by midseason basically.

I wonder more about where all the Texans fans are who thought they'd win the division and actually beat the Colts twice, let alone once. Maybe ATRAIN drank the kool-aid first and then everyone else changed their minds.

I don't know how you remember that stuff.
I know it was just in January, but still.
When something like this happens, I usually just think, "Oh. That's nice. Yay, Peyton!" And then move on. It's forgotten the next day.
