Meh, recent history has shown that mid-season WR trades rarely pan out in the traded year. Chris Chambers and everyone's favorite, RW come to mind.
Now the Jets only have a #1, #2 and #6 in next year's draft.
And that's two games in a row that Sanchez has looked like ass. He was pretty bad in the an game even though Tennessee has one of the worst pass Ds in the league. In his last 7 quarters, Sanchez has completed 49% of his passes, thrown 1 TD and turned the ball over 6 times. The media love with performances like that is rather amusing...
I like the move for the Jets.. Mark Sanchez has a true No. 1 guy to throw to now who is tall, quick, and strong. The receivers they had were O.K, but they were no Braylon Edwards.
Don't set the standard too high for success, buddy.
Looks like B Edwards showed up last night! He caught his first TD and it could have been two if the other was not called down at the 1yd. I think he is going to have a decent year with the Jets.
Edwards was mailing it in robbing the Browns every week by collecting his paycheck. Now he's actually trying but for how long? He's a quitter
he is a less talented, less impactful Manny Ramirez
Thats wrong, but you know I might of done the same thing to get out of that hole.
This is just me, but IMO dogging it on the field and hurting your teammates is NEVER excusable, no matter what the scenario.
Nothing to see here. Braylon has always come to play on Monday Night. He had huge games against the Giants and Bills on MNF last season too.
I'm not a Braylon hater by any stretch, but let the season play out before annointing him the savior in NYC.
Cleveland fans heckling Braylon on twitter and it's getting to him now he is firing back

Wow! what a combo, that is like Rice and Montana!
That combo is 0-1.
I think I must be the only one who doesn't think Sanchez is all that great. He is a good QB, but I don't get people who rag on the Browns for trading the 5th pick for more picks.
Sanchez walks into a situation with 2 Pro Bowl linemen, and a Pro Bowl Running Back
The Browns have 1 Pro Bowl lineman, and traded that pick to sure up one of the most important positions in football. Nobody, not Joe Montana, Tom Brady, nobody is going to succeed without a) a good line, b) a good runningback. Sanchez has both in New York, and would have neither in Cleveland. That is the difference.
The Browns had 3 total picks last year to rebuild with. Those trades got them what they need, draft picks. Alex Mack wasn't the player you draft at 5, so they traded, got a couple picks and players, and drafted someone who will be on the o-line for the next 10 years.
The Browns are rebuilding. You don't draft a QB every year and rebuild. This is what you do:
1) Draft linemen, and build a good, young OL
2)draft defense
3) draft QB
4) draft Running backs and other Skill players
Linemen stay in the league longer which is why you draft them first. Runningbacks last 4-5 years which is why you draft them last. Quarterbacks who have good lines, defense, and runningbacks succeed. Look at Flacco, Ryan, and now Sanchez
first season with the Jets Mangini drafted a tackle and center in the draft. We already have the tackle, and he drafted a Center. Mangold turned out to be a pro bowler and cornerstone of the team.
The 2006 Jets didn't have a QB either
The thing I can't stand is every time Sanchez makes a mistake (misses an open receiver, throws a pick, etc.), the announcers say, "That's just a rookie mistake, you won't see those in a few years" as if Sanchez is going to have a 100% completion rating and average 5 touchdowns a game by his 3rd season and will always make the right play. When Peyton Manning throws a pick, no one says, "That's just a veteran mistake," they simply say it was a bad decision.
I agree that the, "If the Browns had Sanchez instead of Quinn they'd be so much better," or "If the Lions drafted Sanchez instead of Stafford they'd be great," talk is dumb.
The Jets were 5th in yards per carry last year (4.7) and have a top 5 defense this year. That team is still 3-2 or better with Stafford or Quinn instead of Sanchez. Not only does Sanchez have a multiple pro bowler O-line and a pro bowl fullback, he's got one of the best 3rd down pass catching RB's in the NFL, a safety valve neither Quinn nor Stafford have. It's not like Sanchez took over a team that was horrible last year and has it at 3-2, he took over what was a really good team.
Don't compare Mark Wahlberg and Mark Sanchez in the same sentence ever again
Yeah 5 touchdowns and 5 interceptions with a 56% completion rate and less than 200 yards per game, he's really lighting the NFL up!!!
Aaron Rodgers.
are you comparing the weapons the Browns have with those of the Packers? I hope you aren't. Jennings alone is better than all Browns skill players combined
