in the best point guard talk sport writers give a lot of credit to cp3, DW andd...Rajon Rondo is sometimes a lot more apreciated than TP9???
I know spurs like to be out of the picture and low profiled on this kind of talk but what do you think??

Rondo is better defensively, rebounding and has better size.
But only crazy people would say Rondo is better than Tony.
Most overrated PG at the moment vs Tony Parker.

Rondo really impressed me during the 2009 playoffs, he was a stud
But man, Parker is quicker and is a much better outside shooter.
Rondo had one good series, I could name at least 8 other PG I would rather have.

Rondo's a guy who can light up a team when he's playing with three guys that defenders don't want to double off of. Parker's a guy who can do it on his own. It was shown at the start of last season when Parker was pretty much running the show for the Spurs. Meanwhile Boston got off to a rough start at least in part because teams showed up having game planned for Rondo. Rondo's got the edge defensively, but not nearly enough to put him ahead of Parker overall.
i like both, TP is the better PG at the moment. I think Hill has the potential to be a rondo type of player.

I like rondo alot, but he may be overrated cause of who he is playing with. Rondo can - pass/steal/rebound and such. He may not have a good jumper but he makes sure to have all the other parts of his game on a decent-to high level. Parker can - score at will and is an average passer, arguably the fastest PG in the league. Rondo needs to seriously improve on his jumpshot to be considered Top 3. Thats the knock on him, and it has been for a while. TP on the otherhand is known for shoot-first ask questions/pass-second. This season will show if Parker can really handle a team with weapons. Putting the other big 2 aside, RJ and DICE+Mason Jr. can help TP rack up assist. RJ likes to run so Parker can get assist off him. Dice has a mid-range jumper and a one-dribble post up game, Parker can get assist off that as well. And last Roger can shoot the open 3 in transition or the halfcourt which will give Parker another opportunity for an assist. If TP simply moves the ball around rack up assist like crazy. If he dribbles around alot, then he'll have to be taken out of that top 3 PG slot that most like to put him in. Rondo aint there and to me Parker is knocking on the door for that 3 spot.

Rondo is good, but come on TP is way better!
It's only a question because Rondo plays for the Celtics. Put Rondo on another team and no one even thinks about asking who's better between the two.
Of course it is Rondo. He has a rating of 87 on 2k10, a mid range jumper better than Joe Johnson with a 79 to 72.
That's an insult to Joe Johnson's jumper.
You just have to know that Rondo is the best PG of all time, no arguments needed.

Do you all think Pop puts him on the team only for his offense?
I mean, even if he doesn't gamble on steals, or wait at the FT spot to take a defensive rebond (the way cp3 does all the time), with his speed he is ALWAYS where he has to be on the floor and the spurs defend as a team!
+ when it realy matter (PO), he is putting way much intensity on D (we have all seen that again and again!)
Rondo's D is better, but not that much!!! (maybe only one ">")
