Barbie's ankles are fat!

Mile-long legs, a skinny waist, and perky breasts. Barbie has the perfect body, right?

The girl long ridiculed for having the perfect bod is now being told her figure isn't so perfect.

Well, maybe not. French shoe designer Christian Louboutin, who is known for his high-priced high heels, doesn't find Barbie's classic figure flattering and he says her ankles are fat! Yes, f-a-t! More specifically, Louboutin feels Barbie's ankles are too fat to wear his shoes, according to Women's Wear Daily Magazine.

Christian Louboutin is the latest designer to give Barbie a makeover in honor of the doll's 50-year anniversary. Over the next few months, the stiletto king will release three dolls, which will wear mini versions of his shoes. They even come with cute little Louboutin shoe boxes.

But in order for the dolls to show off his shoes, Louboutin is reshaping the doll's legs.

A Board certified plastic surgeon who appeared on CBS News today seems to think the changes are smart. "[Barbie] really doesn't have a full curve to the calf and it goes straight down to the ankle," Dr. Mic e Copeland, whose specialty is cankles (chubby ankles), told CBS News. "In Barbie's situation there might be something on the inner side that we might be able to improve, but Barbie looks pretty good."

Christian Louboutin's public relations team released a statement to CBS saying that Christian "loves" Barbie's ankles, but he thinks her arch needed "a little lift" so she "can rock those high heels."

So there you have it. Barbie has cankles. The doll who has long been ridiculed for being too perfect is now being told she's not perfect.
