French team was pathetic during the qualification for the 2006 WC, they almost won (with a ty coach too).
We just have to see if Messi is a great player or if he's overrated by playing with the Barça.

Neither of the players you mentioned were hyped to be the next Pele. Nor did they actually do commercials with Pele before they even hit puberty.

I said they're 'overrated', not hyped as Adu was. Many times media has mentioned Altidor, onyewu, and donovan as 'World Class' player when they're not even close to being one
