Soon I will be gone after my short tenure here at Spurstalk. I have a new secure job that requires zero internet access as a result and have a expanding family, I probably won't care to visit much.

Now all you libs get to spend the next 4 - 8 years watching in bewildered wonder as the people YOU put into power squander what YOU expected them to do with that power. THEN, as they continue to disappoint you, you will defend them, thinking that eventually they will begin to act and do what they promised to on the campaign - making you the butt of jokes on this and other message boards; in the public at large. You will defend them for too long, and lose much integrity in the process. In '12 they will say all the right things again, and might get reelected; you will again be encouraged that now, with nothing to lose, they will begin to act and legislate like the true-believers you know they are; besides, you COULDN'T vote for the Republican candidate; he/she CERTAINLY would have been worse. Finally, 8 years from now; after the people you elected and dutifully supported in office finally lose all reigns of power in at least one, if not two sweeping defeats and some a$$hat Republican posts a map that shows a major Red trend - you'll simply think: "No ".
