I bought live and enjoy it.

I also second MLB0 the show....absolutely crazy good game. I still dont understand the offseason dynasty stuff (it is too realistic for me i guess), but game play, graphics, etc are just amazing.

How bout that Cadaco Basketball Game where the ball (you can use a ping pong ball as well) rolls around on the game board, lands in a hole, then you flick the side lever and try to shoot the ball it into the basket at the end of the game board.

I'm very disappointed in NBA 2k10. If you're playing against the computer, everytime they take a timeout, they get charged for 2 timeouts. Ex. 7 timesouts, computer takes a timeout, have 5 remaining. Not just against computer also online. There were a few times where the ref didn't hand the free thrower the ball. and it was either me or the other dude that had to call the timeout just so that the ref can toss the ball.

if you leave on auto timeouts, it takes 2 from you as well.

I'm much angrier about the framerate issues.

All problems taken into account, 2k is still much better than live.

I cant stand the way that NBA live does hot and cold streaks...almost every online game i play i dominate the first 2.5 quarters, but if i dont get at least a 15 point lead by the 4th quarter, i almost ALWAYS go ice cold and brick every single shot...no matter if its a wide open dunk, or layup, or jumper...they in turn make anything...half court shots, shaq at the three point line...etc...its so dumb.

Played a guy earlier who must have learned Jameer Nelson is broken...all he did the entire game was pass to Jameer nelson, run around in circles with him, and chunk three's....i think he was about 25/33 from the 3 point line with nelson...was pretty much unplayable for me.

I think 2k is better but I like the controls on live much better, so... it's sort of a toss up.

Enjoy it while you can. Why do you think EA stopped making Live for the PC? Because people like you illegally download it every year and EA made no money off the PC version.

The sad part is that 2k10 only cost $20 for the PC and people are STILL Dl'ing it illegally. It's gonna suck when 2k announces they will no longer make a PC version anymore because of cheap people like you who aren't willing to give up a measley $20 to buy a legit copy of the game.

It is sad and a sign if the times where honesty and morality take a back seat. I have several friends in the industry who have been laid off for just this reason. Their companies discontinued the products they were working on because their profits were shot to from all the piracy.

I know DOK was being humorous with his "file sharing" comment.... but the facts are that the software is copyrighted, not to mention the premise of intellectual-property rights for the creators. It is no different than walking into Gamestop and shoving the game down your pants and walking out. Stealing is stealing no matter what spin you put on it. And for those that think it's harmless and doesn't effect others.... welcome to the "it's all about ME world" where ignorance is bliss.

100% agree. Guys furthering the practice are ing s. People are losing their livelihoods because of you. Our favorite developers are being forced to sellout to conglomerates to keep profits up because of YOU. Every single game sale counts, every single one! In ten years, download your favorite 360 games for nostalgia. Right now, s out the $60 because your favorite developers need that BAD.
