Boston guy the angels. So there
I am going to be flip flopping alot in this series. I hate the Angels with a passion right now. They finally beat Boston in a series and act like they are the world champs. I despise the Yanks as well so this is a lose/lose for me. At the moment, I wouldn't mind seeing the Angels getting their asses beat even at the expense of the Yanks going to the World Series. Damn I wish both teams could lose.

I felt the same way in the 2008 NBA Finals.

Maybe this will cheer you up:

I would seriously be fine with that. The dodgers are my second favorite team due to them having my all time favorite red sox player Manny on their.

    Baseball scorekeeping is a joke.
Infield pop fly that Angels go "I got it no you take it" falls between the short and thirdbaseman and it's ruled a single.

I don't think Lackey gave up an real earned run last night.

I find myself in complete agreement with a Fabbs post. (Reminder- check for flying pigs)

Scorekeeper should have the option to enforce something like a 'team error' in such a situation. The pitcher should not be penalized with earned runs and the batter should not be rewarded with a base hit or RBI.

    PA DIFFERENT FOR JETER
    Mark Saxon
    OC Register

NEW YORK - If you noticed the public-address announcer sounds a bit different when he announces Derek Jeter, that’s because he is.

When Bob Sheppard stepped down after four decades as the voice of Yankee Stadium a couple of years ago, Jeter requested a tape of Sheppard continue to be played for his at-bats.

    What Jeter wants, Jeter gets.

So, Sheppard, two weeks shy of his 99th birthday, still announces Jeter.

“Now batting, No. 2, Derek Jeter… No. 2.”
