And I'm Steve Nash!!!!

or about avoiding being one of the fattest cities in the country?
And I'm Steve Nash!!!!

lol, you hate yourself
It's arguable (and IMO pretty ing probable) that fans play a role in the outcome of games (there's a reason teams with home court advantage have a higher winning %), obviously the quality of the players and coaching staff play a bigger role, but no matter how small, fans still leave an imprint on games so is safe to say that when their team wins something the fans are champions too.
Hey do you think I should cut my hair before the season?
I'd lose the head band brah. I miss playing with you btw, it was fun when I was on Dallas.
yeah you kinda look like a ing IMO. at least just lose the headband![]()
That's the ticket. There ya go, squirt.
Do you know anyone who's ever put their favorite team won a championship on a job application or a transcript?
I personally contributed to the win. I didn't play the game no. My "personal" team won 8 national championships during my playing years. I have the rings and trophys to prove it. We were sponsored by a local business all those years and everyone in that business felt a part of the team. We would not have won without that support. Everyone in that company refered to the team as "we". Furthermore, everyone ON the team refered to those supporters as a part of the "we" when talking about our accomplishments.
Sorry bro I've had bad luck with the ladies this offseason and haven't cared much about my hair.
No but I sometimes roll my window down when I see a spurs bumper sticker on the freeway and yell "one ring got!!"
Laker fan fighting really hard to feel validated!!!
If that's a picture of you in your avatar then yes. You look like a .
Not to mention the financal aspests from ticket sales, consessions, memorabila etc that has a direct impact on the decisions made in free agency and contract negotions.
How did you personally contribute to the Minneapolis Lakers' 1949 championship?
Do the supporters bring up those accomplishments as their own?
...is all the validation Laker fans need. It's Mavs and Suns fan insecurity that is on display here.
Not really. We're the ones well aware of the fact we have no NBA championships. There are plenty of Laker/Spur fans on this board who are secure enough to stay away from this thread happy with their own personal achievements and don't need to ride the coattails of an NBA team.
True. I was going to say something bad about Phoenix, but they are just so damn middle of the pack on everything.
How long before Kori Ellis comes in and locks this thread and we all get banned for trying to take away her most important personal achievement?
Come on.... So Jerry Buss cannot say we won the le in 1972? He's totally out of line unless he says Jack and the Lakers won it in 1972.
You are taking a natural human association with teams and community and making it a semantics debate.
Phoenix is basically the Josh Howard of cities. Nothing extremely good, nothing extremely bad, except the general feeling of disappointment.
Yes. And not a single person in the organization or on the team would have any issues with it. In fact, we encouraged it.
Then why do you feel the need to pretend you won 15 championships? Shouldn't your personal achievements be enough?
