Not really. We're the ones well aware of the fact we have no NBA championships. There are plenty of Laker/Spur fans on this board who are secure enough to stay away from this thread happy with their own personal achievements and don't need to ride the coattails of an NBA team.

I have many personal achievements in both sports and career. Refering to the the Laker team as family or "we" doesn't diminish them at all. Again, it's called associaton.
