There are some great fights on this card, from top to bottom. Looking forward to it.

People really picking against Machida? I think this fight is a no contest, but maybe im wrong.

I think Shogun has the perfect style for Machida to pick apart...

that and Shogun hasn't been the same guy since he dislocated his elbow in 2005. Shogun v2005 could possibly give Machida some problems...I don't think today's Shogun can...

If shogun returns to form he will win convincingly. Long shot of this happening, so machida quick

I dunno man. Striking with the karate boy requires some weird timing. Shogun's hands aren't as good either. Lil Nog did a good job boxing with him way back when. I pick Machida.

I want to see someone try to smother and control Machida with wrestling. I thought Rashad would try it, but I was wrong.

Fans & media just don't care for Okami. The only people who know he exists are die hards.

Yes, and I find that odd considering how he manhandled Swick when Mike was still pretty popular.

Its because fans want to see fights finished, and if your not a die-hard fan, thats pretty much all that matters. I know hes had a good number of fights in the UFC, and I know for a fact they went to a decision in like 80 percent of them. Of course people like me and you, and most of us here appreciate him and want to see him on the card, but thats not a popular decision with the people that want to see "sick submissions and people getting knocked the out". Sad but true.

I think Rua will put up a good fight. His size and legnth is something Machida hasn't had to deal with in his last few fights(they list Thiago Silva as 6'1 but i dont think he is that big).

But at the end of the day I have to pick Machida, the guy hasn't lost a round in the UFC.
