Awesome trailer, even though I doubt the million different guns thing. They'll most likely have an M4 and an M4 with a sticker on it, or an M4 that does +3 damage instead of +2 and call those three different guns.

Well, duh. Except parts are randomly generated, so there won't be any "M4's".

From what I saw on XBL, the gun system is much more complex than just stat differences. Listening to one of the devs talk he was saying how he was playing earlier that day when he picked up a shotgun, then when he fired the shotgun instead of bullets it shot heat-seeking rockets that on impact showered the enemies with acid. So im guessing there's going to be a lot of great stuff in this game

This game, along with Dragon Age: Origins, are probably going to put the rest of my life on hold for a few weeks. Luckily my job is lax enough that I will be able to play them on my PC at work when their's nothing to do

My boss hooked me up with a pretty decent computer at work. As long as he knows Im getting work done, he doesnt give a what I do on the computer during down time.

Well, Im still under NDA... yes, I'm playing the beta.... I cant say much because of the NDA but think of fallout 3 mating with Unreal Tournament 3 with steroids injected into the offspring. You will get Borderlands.

I pre-ordered on Steam. I am phuckin' geeked about this game.

I really wish devs would get a real handle on an FPS-MMO. I remember the anticipation I had for Planetside only to be sorely disappointed, but still somewhat satisfied (because there is nothing like jumping a HUGE dropship with 30 other people, flying to the battle and jetpacking right into the fray).

I remember the anticipation I had for Huxley...and that is on indefinite hold now, too.

Bit of good news....Sony just announced a planned Planetside 2. If they learn from Planetside, with updated graphics and actual targeting hit boxes (for 's sake), I am allllll in.

PC date is 26th.

Retailers and Publishers want people to buy console versions, therefore they delay PC versions.

Multiple reasons for this fact, namely piracy on the PC market and Micro$oft requiring delayed releases for platforms other than XBox.

The bugs have pissed me off a bit but its still a pretty decent game.

I was in a magazine for dirty trick of the week. Back when Planetside was first released, I would wait to find a Galaxy get loaded full of people, then hack it and eject everyone in the middle of the ocean. After that I would fly the Galaxy straight into an enemy bases vehicle terminal and kill alot of people. It was fun . They fixed that bug after a month or so though

I'm keen to get this. I'm done with school in 10 days, my exams done then got the whole summer to relax and do whatever I want.

Borderlands and 2k10 will be in the ps3 when I play over the summer.

nah,from what I've seen it's just an rpg like fallout but with coop
