7 and 3 with one loss to the mavs, a loss in Portland on the b2b and one other random game.
7 and 3, but I think 6 and 4 is very possible as well, while Tim and Manu get back into shape and the rest of the team gels.
7 and 3 with one loss to the mavs, a loss in Portland on the b2b and one other random game.
I agree, the Spurs will go 7-3 or 6-4.
Probably 8-2. Worst case, 5-5 with loses to Bulls, Jazz, Blazers, Mavs, and Jazz.
WIN - Oct 28 vs Hornets (No way Spurs are losing a home opener.)
LOSE - Oct 29 @ Bulls B2B (Bulls home opener.)
WIN - Oct 31 vs Kings
WIN - Nov 5 @ Jazz
WIN - Nov 6 @ Blazers B2B
WIN - Nov 9 vs Raptors
WIN - Nov 11 vs Mavs
WIN - Nov 14 vs Thunda
LOSE - Nov 18 @ Mavs
WIN - Nov 19 vs Jazz B2B
Oct 28 vs Hornets win
Oct 29 @ Bulls B2B loss
Oct 31 vs Kings win
Nov 5 @ Jazz win
Nov 6 @ Blazers B2B loss
Nov 9 vs Raptors win
Nov 11 vs Mavs loss (prepare for a ST meltdown)
Nov 14 vs Thunda win
Nov 18 @ Mavs win
Nov 19 vs Jazz B2B win
So that would make it 7-3. Given all the new guys on our roster, that would be a nice start in my opinion.
Spurs will lose their first two games and we'll see a meltdown of historic proportions in ST.
Every thangs gonna b ahight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Spurs gonna tear sum up dis year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

7-3, maybe 8-2 depending on who plays in the Jazz game on Nov 19
Thanks for posting the schedule...I hadn't seen the schedule yet except I knew the Lakers were playing tha Clips to start the season.
You're right, the Lakers appear to have an easy schedule to start but this means it's probably going to get brutal later on.
I think it's better to get the hard games out of the way first...that way the other team isn't quite prepared yet either.
Spurs will get a chance to steal the tiebreaker from the Mavs while they're still integrating Matrix.

6-4, maybe 5-5; Spurs could lose ANY game that early in the season. ST will be melting down.
Leaning towards 8-1 and if really lucky 9-1........
Not really. The Pacific Division has a bunch of chumps in it.
10-0 Parker will carry the team till everyone catches up. His game is midseason ready and way ahead of the other team players, as well.
Most of the really tough Laker games are coming later in the year. Spurs/Celtics/Cavs/Magic/Blazers don't meet up with the Lakers until Christmas or later. I would have rather seen them get some of these out of the way earlier.
As for the Pacific division, I suspect the Clippers are going to make some noise this year.
But it's the Clippers so it could be a 6 seed or the last.
Don't want this to become a Lakers thread so now back to the Spurs.......
7-3

9-1 or 8-2, with no losses to the Mavs. I think they'll be too fired up to lose to them.

6-4. They could easily win against the Thunda, but I see a whole Lakers/Bobcats thing developing here with SA/OKC that I don't like...we'll see how it goes.
Yep, 6-4 sounds about right given the amount of change this season.

Those are my predictions, and that comes out to 7-3. However, with chemistry issues and trying to figure out rotations, one of those wins will probably become a loss and knock us down to 6-4. My guess for that extra loss would either be Hornets on opening night or one of the two Jazz games.
11-0. Extra free win thrown in by the league as a peace offering to Blair.
