The third base umpire should be shot. First he screws up on the tagging-up call, then he only calls Posada out when neither player was on the bag? What a ing re .

I can't wait to read the explanation on that one. One of the most blatant blown calls I've ever seen.

I’ll have audio from Girardi, Sabathia and umpire Tim McClelland – who made a statement essentially saying he missed two calls at third base – shortly.

Dominant win for the Yanks. I gotta give them that. To watch them slap the Angels like that in their own house was a nice thing to see(This is the only time I will ever say that I enjoyed a Yankee win). This series is over. It is going to be the Phillies vs Yankees in the 2009 world series.

    The Yanks look pretty unbeatable.

The only solace I take on that is that I can't recall a postseason (not even last year's) with more apathy surrounding the sport - even with some big markets still in it.

There were more people pissed off that House started late on Monday than there were excited that postseason baseball went into extra innings.

Game 4 was a joke. The Angels gave up and let the Yankees them up. The umpires were a joke too. How many calls did they miss or get wrong in that game. I'm really hoping that the Yankees are going to get overconfident and y and choke against the Phillies in the World Series.

While those were some bad calls, luckily it didn't lead to any runs being scored in that inning.

They look unbeatable so far against the AL. If they do indeed make it to the world series, they will be a facing a team much much better than anyone they have faced. The Phillies have that championship swagger and they are the defending champs. I think it would be a compe ive series but I just can't see the Yanks beating this team. That is the series I expect Arod to be back to his choking self. That is the series where the Yanks pitching gets outduled by the Phillies pitching. That is the series I expect the Yanks bats to go cold. That is the series I expect the Yanks as a team to fold overall and lose their 3rd straight world series.

I'd love to see the Yanks blow this lead after that comeback. At the same time, I wouldn't mind an Angels meltdown.
