Seemed like i use to watch that movie every week in high school history class.
It was an inside out war. They paratrooped in under the guise of transport ships. It's not like they had to fight across the country... they started in the heartland.
Plus, it's pretty easy to take out a large ant pile, but try going in your back yard and killing off individual ants away from the pile. That's pretty much the jist of the movie.
What's his face from entourage, Pevin? Jeremy Pevin? looks just like the pilot that goes down and gets his nuts hugged by all the girls.
Who's the enemy this time? Will it be China?
As for the remark about "7 kids," if you remember the movie, there were factions all over the states fighting. The movie only focused on the one local group.
Sheen and C. Thomas Howell owe it to Swayze to put a stop to this .

Being flimed in Michigan. Big explosions in downtown MtClemens recently...they also drove a car through some old building, apparently.
