    Guess what? The Lakers brought that tradition to LA, combined it with the magic of LA and evolved into something that would have never been possible in Minnesota.

    I could care less if they claim the one le or not. It doesn't affect me. The orginazation has one and if they feel a part of it....so be it. It's the people that have won zip or have that inferiority complex or outright hatred of the lakers that make this an issue. I'm not really sure why it bothers you so much that people claim accomplishments of the teams they associate with on a finiancial, mental, and personal level.

    Who the cares about championships anyway. Even if Bennett Salvatore didn't our Mavs in 2006 I'd be the same person today. Besides, we're all dead in 2012 anyway.

    I disagree. They both lead their respective leagues in attendance year in and year out. I would also venture to say that most Laker fans are Dodger fans and vice versa. There is no concrete argument that either side could PROVE that makes the town theirs.
