    FWIW, Larry Bird was really impressed with the Spurs' draft, and not just because of Blair. He really thinks the Spurs found a really good player in Nando; I know he's white but Larry seemed pretty high on him nonetheless.

    Our bench is definitely a cut above. I remember telling my wife last year that we couldn't win it (the trophy) because our bench was horrible and that in years past, we had very strong bench players. It definitely looks like old times again.

    Hill's been a shining star this camp and preseason.

    Tony Parker the coach?

    Not so much.

    He's happy they've maintained their health and where they are as a team considering all the new faces.
