USC should be behind Iowa and Cincinnati.
At least OU ain't ranked, right, mookie? No more national concerns about that.
Remember when Ole Miss was #4? Ha. Nobody circles the wagons like the ol' ball coach.
The fact that Bama is still ranked number 2 is beyond ridiculous.
Remembahh when dee piggies came to town and all of a sudden they were ranked again?
you just can't do things like that.
Southern Cal at #4 is even dumber. When the #23 team upsets them though that'll surely change.
do I not see Oklahoma at #22?
lol
My bad. I just looked at 24 and 25 and didn't see them and assumed they went down.
It's a fair assumption considering the fact they shouldn't be ranked.
i remember the night USC lost i said they would always be the top ranked 1 loss, 2 loss team, etc...
i knew that because i am smart.
Definitely agree that they don't belong there...but what pisses me of was when Bama won a game and Texas wasn't exactly impressive, Bama passes them. This week, Texas was phenomenal and Bama was horrible...Texas doesn't move. They'll probably pass them in the voters, but still..and 4-3 and ranked 22nd? You have got to be ting me.
Yesterday was probably first Bama's bad game. Every other game, they looked impressive. Even in that ugly game vs VT, they looked impressive.
True...but they were one blocked kick from losing to an unranked team. The #2 team in the country shouldn't do that.
wow USC is really shaping up to be a likely candidate to win this thing
I think UT has a greater chance to lose another game than USC
Iowa is a potential buster and their SOS is crominant, the computers will love them if they stay undefeated.
An undefeated SEC team is a shoe-in, and the humans will keep 1-loss USC above an undefeated Iowa. One loss texas is ed, especially since at this point a loss would put OSU in the drivers seat for the conference game.
True...but honestly, we knew that already. Texas had to win out to get there..nothing's changed.
You can't lose this late in the season. If someone does lose this late, it would almost be impossible to climb back into the top 2. Unless we have a 2007 year.
Yeah.
If UT does end up going to the le game by winning out, it still won't be as sweet as 2005 when the BCS worked to perfection. Theres a good chance of two or maybe even three undefeated teams at the end of this season.
I still cannot believe Boise ing State though. Cinci and Iowa are okay, but Boise State? Ugh. I hope they get their asses kicked soon. TCU is legit, they impressed me with their manhandling of those mormons.
For every good year the BCS has, there's about 5 ty ones.
don't worry, TCU will pass them after they beat Utah.
although, if Oregon beats USC, which is probably about 45% likely, and goes 11-1, that will look real good for BSU. TCU's schedule may be tougher week in, week out, but they won't have an elite win like that. BYU will end up as their highest quality win
Bama at #2 and USC at #4 are fine by me.
Bama would skulldrag the Longhorns.
LOL 12-10?![]()
Tennessee isn't a bad team at all. They gave Florida all they could handle in Gainesville, it's not surprising they gave Bama a game.
garbage. Unimpressive game against South Carolina followed by a game against Tennessee...Texas would win this game, IMO.
They also got slapped by UCLA at home.
