First game of the season, ring ceremony, and no griffin. I really can't see the Lakers losing tomorrow, Gasol or not.

The Lakers ed up giving away Marc Gasol. Marc/Kobe/Artest on defense would have given new meaning to "No easy Layups".

why the is this the TNT game? Who gives a about the Clippers? Cavs/Celtics is an awesome start, and Lakers is good, but the Clippers?! wtf. Nobody cares about Blake Griffen that much, this isn't Lebron's first game where there was years and years of hype. He was just the number 1 pick, they have them every year.
Ring ceremony game + Blake Grffin's 1st game bonus + Clippers powerhouse this year.
last years ring ceremony was Cavs/Celtics. Ring ceremony isn't an excuse to have a ty game. Nobody will be watching. Throw us a bone and atleast put Lakers/Spurs, Lakers/Blazers, Lakers/Nuggets, Lakers/anything. Nobody wants to watch the ty Clippers. Blake Griffen at his best will be Tim Duncan, a great player nobody outside of his home market wants to pay to see play. And, he is half white, so he will be even more boring than duncan. And, the Clippers are cursed so he will be Tim Duncan without winning, just fundamentals and boringness.

Um, a few things....
1) Tim Duncan is also half-white
2) No one outside SA caring about him isn't cause of the player he is, it's cause he plays in SA. Different story if Boston got the top pick.
3) Have you ever watched Blake Griffin play? The biggest flaw in his game is that his post fundamentals are extremely raw and undeveloped. He's also known for great athleticism while Duncan is just the opposite....comparison makes no sense.
No Griffin tonight. He's expected to miss as much as the first 20 games of the season.

Second of all, and i dont even believe im going to justify what you just saud with a counter argument, but taking away Pau, and replacing him with any 11-7 Center, would make the Lakers a 50-55 win first/second round playoff team.
